Pike County 911 Center
is responsible for the administration, operation, and
long-range planning of the 911 Emergency system which
provides police, fire, and EMS dispatch for the county.

Pike County Correctional Facility
was built in 1995. It is a 87,800 square foot,
non-smoking Facility, situated on 268 acres in Blooming
Grove Township. Our direct supervision 352 bed Facility
houses both male and female offenders.

Domestic Relations Department
is the child support assessment / enforcement unit of
the Court of Common Pleas. Officers receive initial
child and spousal support complaints, conduct paternity
investigations, conduct support conferences, receive and
process changes in circumstances rendering modification,
enforce existing support orders, and initiate or receive

Pike County has been using
GIS
technology since the late 1980's. The tax maps were the

The functions of the
Recorder of Deeds
include recording and indexing documents pertaining to
real estate (deeds, mortgages, satisfactions, etc) and
acting as a collection agent for the PA Department of

now located in Milford, is responsible for the
transportation of Pike County residents under four

Roebling's Delaware Aqueduct
is the oldest existing wire
suspension bridge in the United States; it runs 535 feet from
Minisink Ford, New York to Lackawaxen, Pennsylvania,
it was designed by and built under the supervision of John A.
Roebling, future engineer of the Brooklyn Bridge. |

Promised Land Lake
and the 173-acre Lower Lake offer great opportunities for
swimming, fishing, and boating. Lower Lake is approved trout
